We live in a world fractured by poverty, trauma, racism, classism, climate change; a world where populations are on the move because of drought; a world where student homelessness has increased by 70% over the last decade and food scarcity is rising. We see hatred enacted at the highest levels and often don’t know what to do about it.
But we do not live in a world without hope. Me. You. We. Us. At Circle Faith Future, we believe that togetherness is the key to unlocking a future that builds hope in a fractured world. provide a healing presence to organizations and communities in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho by offering chaplaincy, presentations, workshops, crisis intervention, and/or local conversations addressing climate change, incarceration, poverty, trauma, racism and healing. Why us, why now? The world is calling us to taking a stand. We dream of an abundant future for all of us. We believe that every child deserves a strong community and flourishing future. Financial support is vital to the efforts of non-profits in the world. To that end, we encourage supporting key organizations that are doing good work. |

BAM: Beloved Arise Mentoring
The mission of BAM is to celebrate and empower LGBTQ+ youth of faith in an ecumenical and inter-faith support system.
The Trevor Project found that queer youth who had at least one supportive adult in their life were 40% less likely to report a suicide attempt in the past year compared to their peers. Yet, we know that queer youth are underserved in the mentoring world: the National Mentoring Research Center estimates that 1.6 million queer adults never had access to a structured mentoring experience, and today, fewer than 10 mentorship programs in the US center queer youth. To our knowledge, none center queer youth of faith.
The Beloved Arise Mentorship (BAM) Program pairs queer youth of faith with queer mentors of faith as they cultivate connection, growth, and guidance.
